Skiing

Christopher loved to ski. He took up the sport later in life and his technique needed a little development to safely ski the runs he would go on. That said, he would ski practically any run without fear and he had one speed - wide open. So even on a steep black diamond run he would usually be the first one to the bottom.

One time we were skiing out west and Christopher shows up with an eye with the white part bright red from bursted blood vessels (he had a broken eye socket from getting kicked in the head at a karate event) it looked hideous. We asked if it was safe for him to go skiing and he said sure, as long as he doesn't hit his head. Everyone knows that doesn't happen when you are skiing - right? Or not. Well he skied the whole week like he normally did - wide open - and luckily this week without an incident. That was Christopher.

Christopher, MaryAnne, my wife Chris and I went on a number of couples ski trips back in the day. The photos posted are from those trips.
